We are looking for a skilled and motivated python software developer to complement our team of Data Scientists and Python software developers and develop software for algorithmic trading on the energy markets.
As part of a team of Data Scientists and Developers, you will be in charge of:
- maintaining and developing algorithmic trading software used in production,
- reviewing the software architecture and proposing architectural changes to enhance the overall performance, scalability, and maintainability of the software
- work closely with the data scientists to improve the quality of the algorithms and implement new features requested by our customers
- provide support for the software,
Skills and Experience:
- experience with agile software development in a team
- strong technical background in Python, Docker, mongoDB, Git, and Linux.
- experience in developing, testing, releasing, deploying and supporting complex, modern software.
- experience in working with legacy code
- experience with software architecture
Desirable:
- experience working with Data Scientists
- interest in applied mathematical methods (in particular: mathematical optimization)
- interest in trading (more specifically: energy trading)
